The Village Thrift Shop Organization Project - Kingwood

The Village strives to create the support and services needed to affect positive change in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and our local community, so that these individuals may reach their maximum potential and level of independence.

Activities offered are designed to be innovative, enriching, and to promote opportunities for inclusion and the development of life skills through a safe, highly structured schedule of activities.

The Village also has a Thrift Shop which features quality furniture, clothing, household goods, and much more. All proceeds benefit The Village, serving adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Currently, The Thrift Shop is undergoing a massive renovation project. The Village is seeking volunteers to assist in painting, cleaning and organizing The Thrift Shop to prepare for the relaunch in early February. To sign up to volunteer, email Cory Saffell at csaffell@villagelac.org.
