Sometimes, despite your best planning things go array. It's frustrating in everyday life, but it can be debilitating when it's your wedding day. Sadly, last week popular wedding dress chain Alfred Angelo announced they are filing for bankruptcy and will be closing their flagship stores as well as pulling out of local retailers who carry their line nationwide.

If this were not bad enough for brides across the country, the store has also left brides in limbo as to the fate of their dresses and deposits. This means that countless brides across the country are now without a wedding dress, arguably one of the most important aspects of the wedding aside from the future spouse! Many individual states and counties have already set up legal hotlines to assist brides.

But you can help too, Houston! Showcase Kingwood is partnering with local Kingwood businesses to share the love. If you have a gently loved wedding dress that you'd like to donate to a bride in need, simply contact Showcase Kingwood via email at Ally@ShowcaseKingwood.com, by phone (call or text): 832-510-6020, or on our Facebook Page at www.Facebook.com/ShowcaseKingwood and we will make arrangements to pick up your dress to help a bride in need.

Let's spread the love and pay it forward Kingwood. Show the country that everything is bigger in Texas; our hearts, our compassion, our weddings, and our dresses!
