February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Every kid should enjoy an easy and fun visit to their dentist’s office every 6 months. To help make this a reality, Care for Kids Pediatric Dentistry presents 'Tooth Talk', a dental education tour coming to a school near you!
During the program, children will interactively learn what visiting the dentist looks and feels like, ways to prevent cavities, when to expect changes from “baby teeth” to permanent teeth, proper brushing and flossing techniques, and the importance of wearing mouth protectors for active children and adolescents.
“Children’s teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a child’s self-esteem. With proper supervised care, a balanced diet and regular dental visits, their teeth can remain healthy and strong, lifelong,” said Dr. Patrick.
