Interview with Scott Mousel, Owner/Operator of JAMTX Enterprises - Kingwood

As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Scott Mousel, Owner/Operator of JAMTX Enterprises, Inc.

Tell us a bit about your business:  What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
JAMTX Enterprises, Inc., is a locally owned and operated business with over 35 years of experience. Our operators are educated in Business and Construction, allowing us to make informed decisions when it comes to your home or office remodel.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
I moved from New Orleans where I worked for Gibbs Construction to the lovely Kingwood, TX, to start the business for my children Jake & Allison Mousel. I've been in the construction business all my life and it was time to have a business we could call our own!

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition? What is your favorite part of running this business?
We are a Kingwood, TX based business with over 35 years of experience. We only use sub-contractors that are secure via a background check. We have experience in build-outs for the handicapped. We also handle holiday décor installation and take downs.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
We specialize in all Home and Small Construction Remodeling projects serving clients throughout North, Northeast, & Northwest Houston. References are available.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
My name is Scott Mousel, I have over 35 year in construction. I hold a B.A. in Business from Wittenburg University and a B.A. in Construction from the University of Houston.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?
We offer free estimates, 20% off painting for veterans, 10% off construction projects for veterans and 10% off Exterior Painting. Get in touch today for a free estimate!

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
We do not attempt roofing. We use a roofer for roofing jobs. We only use local and experienced subs that pass with a clean background check.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
We expect a lot of local growth in Kingwood, Atascocita and surrounding areas by word of mouth, references, Kingwood.com,  Atascocita.com, Facebook and Google. Thank you for your support, Kingwood, Atascocita & surrounding areas!
