MISSION: T1DMA will be comprised of individuals who are committed to learning about and investigating new evolving technologies, studies, methods, treatments and care from our available community and medicinal/technical resources.

T1DMA is a community association of individuals and families with concerns about learning:

*     What really is Type 1 Diabetes?
*     Where does it come from?
*     Why do I have it?
*     When is it a serious problem?
*     Who can actually get it?
*     How do I better control it?

Glucose, probably the most important element in our bodies, comes from nearly everything we eat... some foods more than others. In this case, MORE IS NOT NECESSARILY BETTER?!

Our brain, muscles and every organ needs glucose but when the ratio of insulin to glucose in a red blood cell goes awry treatment becomes important to allow the body and the mind to continue to develop as normally as possible.

T1DMA will offer patients, family and friends a forum to meet and gain higher insight into becoming a better controlled Type 1 diabetic.
