Interview with Veronica Rivas of Express Pool Plastering & Repairs - Kingwood

Tell us a bit about your business. What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Express Pool Plastering & Repairs has been in business for over 25 years. We specialize in Complete Swimming Pool Renovations.  We are also insured for your protection. 

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
Julio Rivas was raised in the pool renovation business.  His dad, Modesto, started his company in 1975. After Modesto retired, Julio started Express Pool Plastering in 1999. We are family owned and operated.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
We have an A+ rating on Angie's List and the Greater Houston BBB.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
Client Satisfaction! We are committed to providing excellent, high quality work to all of our customers. We truly believe that our professional and friendly service will leave you completely satisfied!

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
We service residential and commercial customers. No job is too small nor too big.  

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
Julio was raised in the swimming pool remodel business. He went from working inside the office, to plaster applicator to owning a successful, reputable swimming pool renovation company. 

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?
Our services include: plaster, tile, coping, waterfalls and decks.

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
We have the knowledge to assist you plan your pool renovation. We are up to date on all new products and techniques.   We are currently in the process of new pool construction.
