So Chocolate Sponsors Local ALS Ice Bucket Challenge - Kingwood

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is taking the country by storm. The lastest figure nationwide is a whopping 41.8 million dollars have been donated!

The challenge douses people with buckets of ice water on video. The video is then posted to social media, where you nominate others to do the same, all in an effort to raise ALS awareness. You can either accept the challenge or make a donation to an ALS Charity of your choice.

Kingwood business owners Mike and Desiree Cox of So Chocolate jumped on the bandwagon. "It’s the perfect event for our community to get involved with and have some local fun," says Desiree. Kingwood.com’s own Tyler Francois, social media manager, will participate, along with other local business owners and managers.

So, plan to stop by So Chocolate this Saturday at noon for the local ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and don’t forget to register for all the door prizes that will be given away.
