NEC Kingwood Hires New Marketing Liaison - Kingwood

Erin received her bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University (currently Texas State University) in 2003. She began her career in the hospitality industry, working for ClubCorp golf and country clubs. In college, she worked for the prestigious Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas. After graduation, she continued working for ClubCorp as a Membership Director and then as a Member Relations Manager. After 10 years with ClubCorp, Erin changed directions and began her career in the medical industry. She started as a Marketing Manager for another freestanding ER, and continued doing marketing, training and development and customer retention for two other freestanding ERs after that.
In the three weeks that Erin has been with NEC, she says, “The best part of working for Neighbors is that everywhere I go to give information, be it doctors’ offices, community organizations or schools, everyone raves about their experiences at NEC.”
In fact, during her first week at her new job, Erin got to experience the wonderful care NEC provides first hand. On the Friday of her first week, Erin’s husband fell ill. She told him twice to go their doctor that day, during business hours, but he insisted he was feeling better. That evening, he did not look good, so Erin took him to NEC, even though she was new and did not know most of the staff yet. After NEC treated her husband, Erin said, “Having worked in this industry for seven years, I can honestly say that this was our best experience ever. That night, I knew I had joined the right company.”
When Erin isn’t working hard at NEC, she enjoys attending concerts and live music events with her husband. She has also taken up sewing and makes bows and headbands for her daughter.
