Big Wishes
The first request is for a new air conditioning unit. The hot Texas summer is here again. The Center just replaced one of three air conditioning units, but another unit is on its last leg – any help with this expense would be deeply appreciated.
The second wish is for a living room set for the area where clients and children socialize. There is a TV there, but with more than 30 residents at a time (including lots of children), there is a lot of wear and tear on the furniture. The living room set wish list includes:
2 new leather sofas (leather because it is a more sanitary material and lasts longer)
2 new living room chairs
1 rocking chair
1 coffee table without glass
1 end table without glass
If you can provide any of the items on the Big Wish List, please email familytime@suddenlink.net or call the main office at 281-446-2615.
Little Wishes
Canned Goods - FamilyTime provides nearly 23,000 meals a year to families at the shelter and is always in need of canned goods to help supplement the Center’s food bill.
Frozen Treats - The Center strives to provide healthy and balanced meals, but everyone likes a treat sometimes! In the heat of the summer, the children have asked if they could have frozen treats.
Additional immediate needs:
Swimsuits all sizes from kids to adult male and female
Metal two-shelf utility cart
Please bring your donations to FamilyTime Crisis & Counseling Center, 1203 S. Houston Ave. Humble, 77338. If you are interested in holding a food drive benefiting FamilyTime, please call us 281.446.2615.
