So Chocolate Announces Opening

Kingwood is in for a sweet treat! Just in time for Christmas, So Chocolate will open this Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m. and will remain open until the last customers is served, or 9 p.m.

Owners Mike and Desiree Cox, who also reside in Kingwood, decided to open So Chocolate from their very own sweet, love story. Desiree had just graduated from Army Basic Training and was standing in the quad at her AIT when some new recruits arrived. Little did she know, amongst the group was Mike, her future husband.  Mike was an Air Traffic Controller, and Desiree an Apache Helicopter pilot. “We used to always joke, that when we were working was the only time Mike could "tell me what to do", said Desiree. “We have both served a total of four times overseas on combat tours during war time.” They have been married nine years and have four children, and from their love…So Chocolate is opening.  

“We plan to provide our customers with the most delicious chocolate experience through taste, smell, and atmosphere. We will do this by serving the most sought after chocolates, truffles, ganaches, cakes, and other delectable confections. Our shop will be a pleasant, friendly experience and our number one goal is to provide the best customer service anywhere”, said Mike.
