Join The Veranda on July 4th from 11-1 for Barbecue and Kingwood Classic Cruisers!
The Kingwood Fourth of July Parade begins at the corner of Feather Lakes and West Lake Houston Parkway at 10am on July 4th and proceeds from Creekwood Middle School on Sandy Forks to Kingwood High School. The parade will be lead by classic cars from the Kingwood Classic Cruisers Car Club. Following the parade the Cruisers will be showing off their cars at The Veranda (2820 Chestnut Ridge). A barbecue sandwich, chips, watermelon and unlimited iced tea, water and lemonade will be available for $10 from 11am until 1pm. Featured will be an antique fire truck. Bring the family and go for a ride in this remarkable vehicle.
This event is a fundraiser to help cover the medical expenses for Ray Guard and family (34 year residents of Kingwood and owners of The Veranda and Pat and Ray's Studio and The Forest Image). Ray recently received a heart transplant, but suffered a stroke during the surgery.
