CureFest, Inc. a non-profit organization was created by a dynamic group of volunteers who were inspired by local resident Phil Baumann’s fight against Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). GBM is the most common and most malignant primary tumor of the brain and is associated with one of the highest mortality rates. Brain Cancer is the most underfunded area of all cancer research.
By becoming involved with CureFest at one of our events, as a volunteer, or with a simple online contribution you are helping fund research that will have broad reaching effects on many types of cancer.
The $150,000 in research funding that CureFest supplied to MD Anderson last year provided innovative treatments to patients, keeping a study open that has shown great success, even against the most difficult of cancers. Please read more at www.CureFest.com. Donations are accepted online.
