Kingwood Chick-fil-A Opens Oct. 25; Free Year of Meals to First 100 Begins Oct. 24 - Kingwood

Published: Oct 17, 2012, 3:00pm

Chick-fil-A will celebrate this grand opening, as it has every grand opening for more than nine years, by awarding a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A® Meals (52 certificates) to each of the first 100 adults in line, age 18 and older with identification, at the new Kingwood restaurant at 4594 Kingwood Drive. The line officially opens at 6 a.m., Wed., Oct. 24, with the free meal cards being awarded Thurs., Oct. 25, sometime between 6 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. The restaurant will open for business immediately thereafter. If there are more than 100 people by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, all 100 spots will be determined by a raffle that morning, and those 100 will camp out until Thursday morning. See http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Locations/First-100 for complete rules.

People usually arrive more than 24 hours in advance of a Chick-fil-A opening, carrying tents, computers, TVs, and all kinds of other gear to make their wait more comfortable and entertaining. This parking lot party takes on a tailgate type atmosphere complete with dancing, food, games, and prizes for those camping out. It’s always an exciting event! People have been known to travel from all over the country to be part of Chick-fil-A grand openings.

Not only are they giving away more than $26,000 in free food, the new location brings with it 65 new jobs.

Thanks for your time and consideration. Have a great day!
