Kingwood Dynasty 12 Wins Fastball Classic - Kingwood

Dynasty 12u defeated the Atascocita Eagles in the championship game of the Fastball Classic Select tournament held at Baseball USA on May 19-20.

Dynasty went 5-0 during the tournament beating their opponents by a combined score of 49-23. Their bats were hot all weekend, putting up 52 hits, 49 runs, 39 RBI & 13 extra base hits; including Zak Kahler's 240 foot solo home run in the Semi Final game. The pitchers combined for only 13 earned runs, led by Cameron Schmidt going 3-0 with a 1.75 ERA. Additionally, their solid defense turned 3 double plays and only committed 6 errors over 23 innings.

This was the first tournament win for Dynasty 12 and their head coach Brandon Lewis. "We hope to gain a lot of confidence and momentum from this and finish the season strong, the team is really playing well across the board" said Lewis. Dynasty 12 has 3 more tournaments before the State & National Championships later this summer.
