Easy Elegance Panel Program ~ by Leslie Sarmiento

With all the beautiful homes being built in our area, one of the biggest dilemmas homeowners face is covering the customized taller and wider-than-normal windows on a budget.

So, what should homeowners do? If a homeowner is a true die hard do-it-yourself-er, they have many options available. Sewing their own panels, draping fabric from side-to-side like a swag, using valances for top treatments and even building their own fabric covered cornices.

But, if a homeowner is not a do-it-yourself-er and truly wants a custom drapery treatment without breaking the bank, the options have always been less abundant.

Of course, that is, until now. Local author, speaker, and renowned interior decorator, Leslie Sarmiento, owner of Interiors by Decorating Den-Kingwood, has recently negotiated a solution to this problem with several of her drapery manufacturers. He company is the only firm that now offers, “Easy Elegance,” a semi-custom faux silk stationary panel program that includes lined panels available in 37 color choices, a choice of hardware options and rod-pocket or 5 different pleat style finishes. Panels can be customized all the way up to 10 feet in length and include complete installation.

Leslie says, “nothing makes a room more intimate and cozy than draping fabric to frame your windows. I knew this program would be prefect for addressing the unusually large windows builders have been adding lately and I was determined to negotiate with my manufacturers to make it a reality.”

Leslie also offers design packages that address selections for wall covering, flooring, bedding, accessory choices and comprehensive room design for a complete room transformation. Her business is 5 years old, but her love for design spans a lifetime. Her clientele includes homeowners who know the value of timeless, classic design, and appreciate fresh ideas for accessories and custom home furnishings.

She is the author of the “Come on Over - Design Series,” which is a series of decorating guides, and also developed “The Decorating Dreambook,” a project planner designed to simplify the decorating process. Leslie’s design philosophy is to keep it simple, easy and fun! As a full service interior decorator, she offers a complimentary in-home “Discovery Hour” consultation where she comes to your home and directs her creative energies toward taking care of every detail from inspiration to installation!
