The purpose of the Administaff Observatory is to bring hands-on astronomy to students of Humble ISD and the greater community. The Observatory construction was made possible with a grant from the Humble ISD Education Foundation and the involvement of many individual and corporate donors.

Future plans for the Observatory include viewing nights and educational presentations for the benefit of our students and employees, public viewing nights, and the use of the facility as a resource for the students of Lone Star College Kingwood.

Dr. Aaron B. Clevenson has been appointed the volunteer Observatory Director. He is installing the telescopes and developing the program offerings for the facility.

If you would like to be on our email distribution list, you can sign up here. The distribution list will be used to send brief email news and announcements about upcoming events at the Observatory, as well as general announcements about upcoming astronomical events to watch for.

If you would like to make a donation to the Observatory, please contact the Humble ISD Office of Community Development at 281-641-8140. No donation is too small
and every dollar will help purchase needed equipment and teaching materials.

**Galaxy Level Donors ($10,000 and above) are identified on our donor wall with an individual plaque
**Stellar Level Donors ($1,000 - $9,999) are identified on our donor wall star chart with a plaque next to a bright star
**Planetary Level Donors ($100 - $999) are recognized by having their name placed on our donor wall group plaque

All other donors will be recognized by having their names included in a donor book located in the Observatory
