One more note on KCC....we did the $29.99 package and although the food and entertainment was included, the drinks were definitely not. And it was HOT. Probably hotter than TC, since there's not a lot of shade on the driving range. The VIP package isn't really our style. It's the 4th of July....you're supposed to be outside eating hotdogs, drinking adult beverages, listening to music and sweating your *** off! 'Merica!

I have quit Facebook to dedicate my full time to this forum. Lol. Kingwood.com is so much better. Oh yea forgot. You owe me fireworks bla bla bla. Richies bla bla country club sucks bla bla. Did I miss anything?
Tony Austin, you need to step down because of this mess. Clear and simple. If something like this happened at a real business you would not have to, it would have been done for you already. Your letter, while informative, was nothing but an excuse for either poor planning or just plain favoritism. Whatever the reason you are ill equipped to do that job.Â

@problemagainI agree that nobody should be reaching for any axes. Â However, I disagree with you that this was somehow unavoidable or, frankly, even a surprise. The decision was made to do "the same show" (presumably meaning firing at roughly the same height) but move it 2-3x further away from the common public viewing points. Â Simple trigonometry says that this will lower the angle at which the fireworks will explode to a watcher in the same spot. Â I get that organizing an event like this is not done casually over dinner one night. Â But I would appreciate it if we simply got the truth so that we can collectively have a conversation about what - if anything - we want to change next year. Â As I've said in prior posts - there are solutions. Â We will more quickly find one that works for most people if we are able to deal with the plain facts in front us.I don't know. Â There are very real topics for discussion. Â The guy's head should not roll for this. Â Hell - Maybe I should get involved if I care so much... not that I'd have any idea how to go about doing that. 4951
