I know y'all are excited...As am I. The Randalls in the back is officially opening back up today (11/15/17) at 6:00AM. And the store looks GREAT!! Today's Re-Grand Opening Event featured free goody bags for the first 300 people, raffle drawings for some awesome prizes, a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber and much more. Also, Randalls presented a $100,000 check to the Humble ISD Education Foundation for their Harvey Relief Fund. If you are there today, you can meet a few of the management staff that have worked tirelessly to make this happen so quickly...Cindy Fletcher (Store Director), Gerson Orellana and Aron Brown. Them and their employees have really done an excellent job getting 1057 back in business.Everything has been upgraded, from floor to ceiling and back to front. Some of the noticeable changes are the colors, lighting, FULL Starbucks, dual glass doors in the dairy, new cases/shelves and numerous others. Randalls 1057 is just the latest in a growing list of businesses that have made it back after Harvey. Go HERE to see the full list of businesses affected by flooding and their current status! Thank you, Randalls, for showing everyone just how strong Kingwood is. Welcome back!!
Someone complained that they were "grossed out" by the mold in the womens bathroom and that it appeared only part of the tile was removed in the store. I would assume that - prior to opening - that kind of thing would have to meet strict requirements? Not like it's a little mom and pop operation.
