So people tried to save money by using an unlicensed, unbonded "business" and are surprised they were ripped off?
Um what did they think the "business" would do?

Even though it may be more expensive, I always go with companies that are well established and are bonded. It's too risky not to, especially when they are doing tree trimming, something on the roof, etc. Also, I agree with others who have posted that you would only pay a small amount up front, if any, which should be deemed only to buy materials to get started. 4951
