Whew! Mine is not on the list. This key fob thing is worrisome, though. 4951

I always notice stick shifts are never on these list. One of the pros of owning a standard. It's like it's own  Club device when thieves see it. 4951

@beastmode: They still break into those vehicles... they just sit on the shift stick lock the door again and then move on.Happy driving. Emoticon

The video in the news article shows the guy getting the info after the lady has already locked the door and is walking away. I wouldn't think the key fob would still be sending any type of signal to receive, but then, what do I know... 4951

That's why they say to lock your doors manually on the door panel before walking off, instead of using the key fob. Thieves can't get the frequency if you don't use the fob to lock it. There are other suggestions at the end of the article though. I had never heard of the Silent Pocket. 4951

My car is always on the list. Cheap and easy to move. For awhile there was someone in the Houston who could get into Dodges/Jeeps. I was pretty sure they snagged the software from a dealership, but maybe they had that key fob signal thing and a love for dodges. 4951

@OldGuy: I saw that report. I put one of those silent pocket fob holders in my Amazon cart.

Isn't it pretty much just a list of the most common cars? Like the most popular vehicles have the highest probability of being stolen? 4951
