Now reading the new HEB pharmacy was burglarized this morning. The criminals are busy in KW unfortunately.
Early Christmas morning, HPD was dispatched to the HEB at WLH and Kingwood Dr for a burglary call. Several unknown males had broke into the pharmacy before 6AM. When officers arrived, the suspects fled the scene and left a garbage bag full of stolen prescription drugs behind.
They were driving a stolen SUV from an Humble dealership.
That morning, there were 4 burglaries (both attempted and successful) of HEB pharmacies around Houston.
The first was at 9710 Katy Fwyaround 2:40 AM, where they forced entry into the store. They couldn't determine whether anything was stolen or not.
#2 was at 5225 Buffalo Speedway at 2:55 AM. They made off with a bunch of prescription drugs.
The third occurred at 5417 S Braeswood at 4:15 AM. This location hasn't divulged what was stolen yet either.
And of course we already know about the one at 4517 Kingwood Dr at 5:30 AM. Police found the suspects' vehicle (Nissan Murano SUV) still running in the parking lot when they arrived, as well as the bag of narcotics that was left behind. Inside the vehicle were various burglary tools.
HPD believes it was the act of the same group. If anyone has information, they would like you to call Crime Stoppers at 713 222 TIPS (8477).
My DD and I were wandering thru CVS by Randalls on WLH about 4 trying to pass time waiting for DH to get home from work. We had been at my aunts for the day.
2 woman were in the shaving aisle and we were in the same aisle. One was pregnant and the other was wearing sunglasses in the store with a huge zip up sweatshirt. I knew something wasn't right. It was way to hot for the sweatshirt. They walked down the aisle with the 2 $50.00 razor boxes, bent down pretending to look and discuss toothpaste whitener, stuck the boxes up ones jacket and walked out with the buzzer going off. The employee said she wasn't chasing them. They don't get paid to chase thieves and CVS wouldn't cover them if they got hurt. So basically thieves can do whatever they want because no one is going to stop them. I've heard this in Walmart before.
