I know this happens often, but it seems to be VERY often this week!

Several homeowners have reported multiple vehicle break-ins across Kingwood over the past couple days.

Elm Grove, South Woodland Hills and Riverchase are the specific villages mentioned in recent police reports.

The video below was captured by a homeowner in Riverchase. It occurred at 3:30AM this morning. He believes the car to be a newer model Toyota Camry.

If you have any information on these vehicle burglaries, please contact Crime Stoppers at  713-222-TIPS (8477).

I left our big ole yeti cooler in the front seat of my car that I purposely leave unlocked because its a rag top..no one took it. I was going to be in a lot of trouble if they had.

I should get a camera system I suppose. Any recommendations? Those pics aren't too bad.

I think I'll leave my truck unlocked with only a briefcase left inside on the passenger seat. I'll lock a brick in the briefcase to give it some weight so they think there is something valuable inside.

They will get all excited thinking of what could be inside. When they finally break it open they will find a job application to McDonald's.

@Jeff1928:

Lmao!!' Or put some of that red dye in it like banks do and then when they open it , it gets all over them then they'd be easy to recognize.

I just saw an older gold colored cutlass trolling with 3 grown men in the car one in the back just didn't look right ....I was sitting in my truck watching them pass by then as they drove back from my culdesac I turned my
Lights on them as they were passing by and started following them out of the neighborhood ....it's getting worse around here people and for those of us who have been here since the 80's it's a rude awakening ....

Only thing is, if they can get in your truck, they will probably take it.
