Thanks for the great drone footage of the flooding.  We have been stuck in the house since Saturday,  water within 6 inches of the house.   4951

You can really tell how much higher the water has gone up since the first video.  Especially on 494 going into Forest Cove.  We came down 494 Saturday night around 7:30.  Water was already starting to cover road at Hamblen, but one lane was still passable.  Now it looks like even the RR tracks are under water and those are pretty high up.  4951

The first level (garage) is constructed of concrete cylinders design for floods. From what I have read, the water did not reach the second floor.

This is life for river folks. No reason to tear down the townhomes. 4951

Jack's grocery had water to the roof!  Just unreal to see that. They need to get rid of the townhouses at the Marina in Forest Cove.  Just no way they can be safe to live in after taking in that much water.  They flood way too often.

Is Jacks right there on the corner where the Mexican restaurant is?! I wonder if water got inside the restaurant. 4951

Wish I could see the Country Inn & Suites on 59 by SuperTarget. Left my car there underwater and headed home to Louisiana. 4951

@bubbleyes72: I saw a picture of Jack's Grocery and the rest of that shopping strip on the news last night. Water was not quite to the roof, but close so it definitely got water - maybe even up to the ceiling.  This has to be the 3rd time it's flooded that much now so it will be interesting to see if they re-open or tear down that strip...

This footage I took will show you Jack's.  Their awning is about 9ft.  The water was within 2 feet of the awning at the highest point.https://youtu.be/GbIoZ_Hvcy8Cheers. 4951
