If you're in Trailwood, make sure your car doors are locked. Some guy just got into somebody else's car less than 10 minutes ago. " This man just broke into a vehicle-Trailwood A man was checking cars and broke into a vehicle outside our home. Police were called but they did nothing so I wanted to make people aware."
sweetie : We park both cars in the garage. I understand garages are convenient storage; the question is what is more valuable, the things stored in the garage or your vehicles? It may be cheaper to rent a storage facility so vehicles can be in the garage.
sweetie : Thanks for posting! We have had 2 cars stolen in 2 years. 1 recovered and 1 not. It is a huge hassle when someone steals your car. We have armed our cars with multiple anti theft devices and if they don't fit in the garage they are behind a gate.
Also hit the lock button on your inside garage door opener. If someone gets in your car they won't be able to open the garage door. Also if you do see or hear someone getting in your car, hit the alarm button on the key fob.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : my friend went into work the other day at a huge plumbing company. Within five minutes of being in the office two people drove up one got out of the car. The other one left he was able to break into my friends truck within a couple of minutes. All on video . Down the road, within five minutes they had disabled OnStar. His insurance tells him it'll be 28 days before they can release a check for it. They have to wait to see if it's recovered.
sweetie : WOW! I hope your friend can get a car rent with his insurance.

How many complain about people stealing stuff out of their vehicles and they are the ones that leave it unlocked. I know it's against the law and that's not much of a deterrent, but you are giving the criminals the opportunity
If your car doors are UNLOCKED, is it breaking into your car or just entering your car without permission.
Probably customers of the multiple drug dealers that sell out of the townhomes. They don't even hide it.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : His boss is letting him use one of the company trucks. They have an extra one until he gets this resolved.
