On one hand, I appreciate their passion. On the other hand, don't they have better things to do than to stand out in the hot sun? I know I do.

I had to tell the staff member that he is on the committee that was considering eliminating the Medicaid provider tax.

Some may even think "why?"
Paid staffers should know basic stuff that will cost you and me money.
Do you know what eliminating the Medicaid provider tax implies for the Texas state budget?
If you don't, Mr. Crenshaw failed to inform you.
Representation implies consultation.
At least, that is MY opinion of what it implies.

Sisyphus : Its been awhile since the last town hall but I have never seen you in attendance. HPD holds monthly meetings. Never seen you. TiRZ hokds monthly meetings. Again never seen you. City Council meets weekly. Have you ever attended?
