Why should we care? Where is Western Academy (Ans: no where near Kingwood). What is the total enrollment of Western Academy (Ans: 230)? Why post this?

I went to boarding school for 2 years. Trust me, the parents are Here for them making their kids follow the rules. None of this 'that's not fair", from that group. Oh, and if you are asked to withdraw your son from school, the school will Not be 'withdrawing' your money, and giving you a refund, and yes, that is In the contract. Boarding school is like mini-Marines; but if you follow their road to education and integrity, you Can go far in life. Honestly, my first 2 years in college were just a repeat of my time in boarding school, so I skated and got a 3.9 GPA, not a moment of stress.

Back when I retired the 2nd time, my neighbor, a school principal, got me to be a sub teacher. Policy at the time was no phones in the classroom. All phones were to be confiscated and turned over to the office. 1st offense: phone returned after school day ended. 2nd offense: phone returned after $5.00 fine paid. 3rd offense: phone had to be retrieved by parent and $20.00 fine paid. No idea what would have happened after 4th offense, and never heard of anybody ever getting caught a 4th time. This was public school. (And no idea where the fine money went. Maybe to teacher's lounge coffee fund? Coffee was always free and there was no collection jar in the lounge.)

Can not see a school being able to destroy student's property but I can see having it taken away for a long period and fines to get them back.
