I did it for $10 an hour early 20s. It was humiliating and hot.

most likely $12 an hour; not a lot but they do know the conditions, when they take the job. I have worked up to 3 jobs at a time; you do what you have to do, to get what you need. In this case, hot or not,that would be an easy job to fit in to a part time schedule, around a full time job, too.

not sure how much I trust AI all the time, but a simple query said those spinners with experience; the more acrobatic, showy ones, can make up to $20 an hour, but $12-$14 was a normal base salary, as we have said here.

Am I the only one who tips them?

Not enough for sure. I've stopped and given him Gatorade & water. Very nice guy. Not sitting on his butt. Just trying to make a living. I thought he was going to cry. He thought I was stopping for info. Lord have mercy on him.
