Waaait are they really closed? Bc Freebirds would hit for dinner tonight. Google says they're opened. If they're actually closed I might have to settle for Chipotle.

I park over there on that side facing Freebirds when I shop at HEB. It never looks really busy, but I believe they do have a steady stream of customers that still enjoys their food. The post that said they were closing was proven to be a false rumor, but I can see how we can be concerned about them struggling. It's a tough spot, with many places having come and gone from there, but I hope they continue to do well for the sake of the community and the people who frequent the restaurant.

Staples : I saw a HEB cart at the MH Convenient Care parking lot today. That cart was a long way from home.

Txbutterfly : I never see any cars there.forestfairy : It's because the drive-thru in that building isn't workable with the HEB traffic pattern. It's difficult to get out of the Freebirds parking lot when HEB is busy.
