What's For Dinner, Y'all? I am in the mood for Italian, so making spinach and cheese ravioli; I put the Rana brand refrigerated ravioli in a greased dish, and pour a jar of my favorite spaghetti sauce over it ( put a but of the sauce in the bottom of the dish, too, before you put the pasta in), top with a package of your favorite Italian shredded cheese ( we like the Italian blend) ,and then cover tightly with foil. Bake at 40 minutes in a 400 degree oven. I have often turned off the oven, removed the foil, and baked the dish for another 10 minutes. We like Duffy's Dough Sourdough bread ( from Kroger, over in the bakery area on the wooden rack with the Naan bread), served warm with a drizzle of olive oil and butter, and sliced, before we wrap it to go in the oven. The house is smelling good, too! What's on your dinner table tonight, or are you going out?

Didn't feel like cooking and had Jet's Pizza. It was very good. We at the 8 corner pizza.

We made chicken and dumplings and used the new Campbell's Cream of Chicken and Herbs Soup. Loved the soup and it turned out great !

We just use Pillsbury Bisquits from the cooler and roll it into balls and drop in soup while simmering......much cheaper.
Reivax and LittleTexas reacted Rana ravioli put the restaurant's in the area to shame. Far, far better than the local Italian American places. We use the Carbone's sauces, or in a pinch Rao's. Cheese, aged Italian Parm in a block grated at home. Far better and reasonably quick very good eating.
Yesterday we lunched shelf stable gnocchi, in lieu of dumplings, soup. Clean pantry and fridge days are exciting mish mashes. It's on the next clear the decks rotation.
Sloppy Joes are Sloppy Jose's if you add a finely minced chipotle in adobo sauce.
