As someone who from outside who has experienced Whataburger before AND after they were sold, I can tell all of you seeing it through rose tinted specs that it is no different now than it was before.

#msg6021575I don't eat fast food and can say I've never eaten one. Guess I'm not missing anything. We always went to Pete's. And if they weren't available we went to Bills. Real burgers hand made. Best fries around.

I never understood why anybdy returned.
I tried it twice when we moved here
That being said, the ketchup at the supermarket is a good buy when on sale

I totally agree! I had a Whataburger the other night. It was thin and the bun was not fresh at all. It's very disappointing.
#msg6021494Whataburger Time to cancel this crappy burger joint. They've had enough time to fix their crappy mutated version of what it used to be. Slicing a single patty into two is not what makes a double meat burger. I think it changed hands to some firm in Chicago some time ago and has done the same to the business as they have done to Chicago. Time for them to go!
I really need to try Pete's. I wasn't blown away by Bill's. It was good but not great. I didn’t used to care for Skeeter’s burgers either but the last one I had was great.
