I don't eat fast food and can say I've never eaten one. Guess I'm not missing anything. We always went to Pete's. And if they weren't available we went to Bills. Real burgers hand made. Best fries around.

As someone who from outside who has experienced Whataburger before AND after they were sold, I can tell all of you seeing it through rose tinted specs that it is no different now than it was before.

elguapo : I totally agree! I had a Whataburger the other night. It was thin and the bun was not fresh at all. It's very disappointing.
Whataburger Time to cancel this crappy burger joint. They've had enough time to fix their crappy mutated version of what it used to be. Slicing a single patty into two is not what makes a double meat burger. I think it changed hands to some firm in Chicago some time ago and has done the same to the business as they have done to Chicago. Time for them to go!
elguapo : For local places, I like Skeeters and Culvers. Totally different burgers from each of those establishments, but both are much better than the current state of Whataburger. I've been to a couple small-town Whataburgers in the last year and they seemed better than what we get in our high-fallutin' area.

I really need to try Pete's. I wasn't blown away by Bill's. It was good but not great.
Capybara : Very good Burgers, fresh buns too. I'm not a fan of their fries. But, Pete's have very good Onion Rings. By the way, I really like the Fries and Hotdogs @ Smash Burger. « Back to Chat
