Gigix4: Congratulations on your Grandsons career choice. Sounds as if he has accomplished a major milestone in his life. And I get the apprehension, I have got a 16 year old Grandson considering the same career path and I am hoping he changes his mind, but it will be his choice. One of my sons good friends, is a K 9 officer out in Montgomery County and he absolutely loves the job. Prayer to protect them all!

Congratulations! This should give you comfort. My best friend decided to go into law enforcement and quickly moved up the ranks to eventually becoming the chief of police. He has always been a people person who made friends with everyone regardless of their background and issues which made him a very popular figure and yes he encountered many unfortunate situations during his long career but always handled them with professionalism, courtesy and respect for all parties involved. I recently asked him if he would do it all over again and he quickly replied absolutely. 🙏🏻✌️
