My kids were so excited for the snow this morning. Then my oldest went and touched it and said, "this is weird snow, Mommy - not like the snow we're used to!" We may have taken him out of the North, but the North is still in him. *sniff* I'm so proud... I had to explain to him that this is how Texans make snow. And I, too, called it "mini hail" - didn't realize the term was actually snow pellets or graupel. Thank you for the lesson this morning! 4951
