Watching ABC13 Morning News (edited for GenChat)

Seems like they are seriously trying to hang on to the inflated picture they have been creating. If there are only small clusters of ice in things like flower beds, and nothing close to what was predicted, why are they still telling people to stay home? The rain is clearing and so far, the roads seem okay.

Seems like no reason to not venture out, at least locally. I understand things "could change" but now, it appears to be better than expected.

I just did a power walk, there's no issues with streets right now. Once the temps drop, that will change. Aside from that it's still above freezing. So I would have no issue atm.

I agree. I've a team's meeting this afternoon to discern tomorrow's office status. I’m feeling a very pleasant drive to work tomorrow.

PeggyAnnR : If Monday looks like this, we will be going in, especially since I am no longer commuting downtown.

I have no issue staying put IF warranted, but I will not play into the over-hyped, just for rating BS by the media. It also makes me sick that local businesses closed as a result of same. They have already suffered enough since "you know what."
