For those of you with Walmart + membership-
I always buy my gas at the Exxon at the corner of KW drive and LH Pway. I like the 10cent per gallon discount and the convenience of having my card info stored.

Today I went there to fill up like usual- sometimes it asks me on the app to enter the pump number and sometimes it asks me to scan the QR code on the pump. Well today it told me to scan the QR code but it was gone off the pump. I looked at the other pumps and the sign with the QR code was not on any of them

I was wondering if the discount was discontinued or if the gas station was being greedy with the increase in gas prices. Anyone else try to use the discount at an Exxon?

I have been thinking about getting a Walmart+ membership but I'm a diahard HEB girly. Is it worth it? Do they ever cancel your deliveries?

I use it all the time. I love HEB too but get staples at Walmart. I dont buy meat and produce at Walmart. The deliveries are great and I can get groceries deliveries when I travel or have the delivery sent to someone else. Free shipping alone makes it worth it for me.

Love my walmart plus. No more having carts hit my car because some entitled person didn't put their cart back. No more crusing isles thinking oh I need this, bending twisting putting it in the cart, on the belt, loading bags in a cart and dragging it to my car, loading, unloading, emptying bags all over to bend and twist to put it away. I just open the door and put it away.
We haven't bought or used the gas savings because we use our frys points on Friday.
I definitely use it traveling and just have things delivered to whatever hotel I'm at. I like that I can order if I'm going through a small town and they bring it to my car without having to swipe my card all over. I stash a few hundred in my Wally wallet and don't even need my card.
I just switched to an annual payment over a monthly and it saved me about $57 a year on membership fees.
I need an oil change so gonna try that this next week for the first time.
I don't scan Q R codes and refused at restaurants during the pandemic.
Everybody has an app they want you to download and I don't do that either. I just go to the site.
My dh has the frys and Albertsons app on his phone and I use that for digital savings.

UptownGirl : InHome membership is tip-free. They'll even put stuff away for you, though I just have them bring stuff to my kitchen. I rarely buy meat or produce. It's great for staples, cleaning supplies, pet food, toiletries, heavy things like cases of water. It also includes free shipping. They'll even pick up returns if you aren't satisfied with something. I now check Wal-Mart before ordering from Amazon. Prices are often competitive. The savings from not tipping nearly pay for my membership. There are many other perks, like free Paramount Plus, free prescription delivery, and more. It may not be useful for you, but we love it.

I never use publicly posted QR codes because of the possibility it was switched out for a scam linked one. Gas stations are notorious for scams. They may have removed QR codes because they had been linked to a scam.
