Visited the new Red Curry last night Wanted to put in a quick review on the Red Curry. As a disclaimer, we never went to it prior to the recent change in ownership, so I can't compare. The new owners have a restaurant in the Heights which they are currently renovating - Asia Market Thai Loa, which is rated quite well. Apparently lunch customers down there suggested opening something up in Kingwood, and they landed at buying out the owner from the Red Curry recently. They are serving a soft opening menu for a few weeks until they get a full menu going, and are focusing only on Thai food, no more sushi. They were looking for ways to advertise around Kingwood, I suggested they contact KDC and get an ad going, perhaps a gift card. Now for the food, my wife had a bowl of yellow curry, medium. It was pretty good, slightly sweet and just the right spice for her tastes. I tried the Pad Nam Prik Pao with pork, hot. It was full of taste and quite nice. Vegetables were cooked perfectly and balance of spice hit well. We will be going back trying more from the menu. 4951

******! They had the best Sushi in KW, we really liked their sushi.
Didn't know they changed owners.
There were quite a few things on their menu I liked, but my fave was the drunken noodles (minus tomatoes). 4951

When did the change of ownership take place? We were there about a month ago and commented that the Pad Thai was better than previously 4951

Good to know, thanks for posting! I've been longing for a good Pad Thai closer than Nara Thai in the Big A. 4951

Blackandblue_10 : No, I haven't been there and I'm not sure why ... prolly because I usually only think of Chachi's when I think of Town Center? I'll be sure and give them a try. Thanks!
