@Kaa054 :
We don't have the craft store either. By home store are you talking Home Depot or Lowe's? There is a Lowe's up front.

No like the At Home Store
No the back doesn't have those either but would be nice not having to go to Humble, New Candy, etc for them. Up on the feeder where Joe mentioned would be great!

And this is off the feeder so I don't see it increasing traffic as much as building in Kingwood proper

Edited my post while you were typing, LOL. I got excited when there was going to be a Town Center at the front. This a a few years back. I didn't know what happened. Walking around to the different places and then having the green area for just hanging out.

Doddlebug50 : Do you really want all that in KW? Added traffic and buildings is not something I want. I don't mind leaving the bubble to shop. The livable forest is giving way to the concrete jungle

I suppose you have a point. Drawing more people to Kingwood to shop would probably increase crime, even though it would be nice to just walk.
Kingwood fights any development they could have had to turn the corner, and they also aren't the best at supporting businesses

I wonder what the condition of some of these spots are after sitting for so long. Things don't seem to be built to last here vs. in other areas of the country where building are still in good shape after many decades. Sadly, whatever is being built now and so fast is probably being built cheaply as well.

I do remember that . I think it was part of a plan with an inn. The original ones that were going to do that faced some challenges.

Part of that Sam's is a liquor store. They are splitting it up. Said it was pulling too much from 1960. That's an area I avoid unless I need to go to At Home. I would like one of those closer.
