Do you really want all that in KW? Added traffic and buildings is not something I want. I don't mind leaving the bubble to shop.
The livable forest is giving way to the concrete jungle

If they built more in the front by the freeway, then those that live in the front wouldn't need to go to the back.
I hate valley ranch. I will drive to the woodlands before me I go over there. I hate the way the layout of the traffic flow in & out of there. Plus, I don't go over there bc I see all the parents & kids I taught lol. I stay away. I like my chuys & salt grass in humble. Gringos suck. It's sad how kingwood could have made the back where sharkys a retail area. Instead they built more condos. But then again they all would have left after the flood probably.

@Kaa054 :
They do seem to be putting in across the freeway but except for already local businesses that already exist I haven't seen much new coming in. I heard the prices for renting a space are pretty high.

Cantaffordthis : Traffic flow is kind of a mess over there...

Yeah, it's not great at the end there, for people exiting Valley Ranch toward FM 1314...but, I have to say, every time I've gone that way so far there hasn't been too much of a backup in that section...I'm guessing currently most of the traffic gets siphoned off to the neighborhoods on either side. I do wonder why they didn't just finish it up.
It backs up the same time most other traffic backs up daily. I just see it becoming more of an issue when they add the places/shops they are going to add.

@Kaa054 :
What would you like to see up front compared to the back.? I know both places have places in common : HEB, Kroger and some fast food places. The front probably has more clothing choices.

Montgomery County doesn't care about drainage. Just clear cut the properties, add concrete and let it all drain south through KW and Harris County.
Texas Public Water Code 11.086...........

(b)A person whose property is injured by an overflow of water caused by an unlawful diversion or impounding has remedies at law and in equity and may recover damages occasioned by the overflow

Sorry, the more trees that are removed and the more concrete that is poured over the ground, the higher the risk and chances of flooding. That is just freaking common sense.

A gym for one, but supposedly we are getting one in the old Randall's. I really like the layout at Town center. At one point there was going to be a Kingwood Park Town Center at the front by the Homewood Suites. We probably don't have the population to support it but a Home Store, Craft Store,etc would be nice too.
