Picasso13 : When I drove a gas vehicle, I used the gas station at the big Kroger on Northpark, because I was able to apply points and get a discount from grocery purchases.
Always used Costco.
Quixote : Me too. I feel safer there and their card readers are less likely to be skimmed.
TXSunDvl : We use the fuel recommended by the manufacturer, premium for one car and regular for the other. Do you have to pay for your fuel at the WLHP and NP location before you can actually use the pump? DH was surprised that he had to tell the cashier the amount he would use at the pump, then the amount was put on his credit card. If he paid more than he actually used, he didn't get a refund. When this happened to him a second time, he stopped using that gas station even though it was the most convenient for us.
Picasso13 : I just tap my credit card at the pump, and the I can pump until it's full. I m charged for the gas I use. I never see the person in the store.
TXSunDvl : Have you tried using Kroger points with your credit card? DH has to go inside to use them, then tell the cashier the dollar amount of gas before he's able to use the pump. This is the only station that works this way. No other station that he's used does this, so he's using others instead.
