Mushu is sweet young pup who came into the shelter as a stray, and it was reported that he was hit by a car. Despite his circumstances, he remains incredibly sweet and gentle. Medical
*** Mushu is having difficulty standing on his right front leg, likely due to nerve damage.
*** Radiographs show no fractures in any of his limbs.
*** He can flip his paw back after it’s placed in a knuckled position but does not bear weight on it.Staff is closely monitoring Mushu's progress and hope he will improve with time. However, if there is no improvement, he may need amputation. Mushu needs a rescue who can provide the specialized care he needs or a foster who can give him the time and space to heal with a few weeks of cage rest.If you can rescue or foster Mushu, please reach out to us!
