Two weeks ago, Harris County Commissioners voted to defund 80% of the projects in the 2018 flood bond because they ostensibly didn't have enough money left in the flood bond. Tomorrow, HCFCD's director is asking them to approve a $1200/night hotel allowance for herself. And that's not the only eye-brow raising item in her travel request. Make sure you check out.
