So when did the turning rules change on 494 north to Kingwood Dr

I noticed that the last few days. I go up to u turn after going under the freeway and then sit at the light watching car after car u turn going the wrong way on the feeder! So scary!

It's always been 1 turn lane for as long as we've been in KW. When they redid that section of 494, they did extend the turn lane. And yes, there are always those who turn from the other lane rather than wait. Agree with comments about the U-turn situation at NP.

It's ALWAYS been ONLY one right turn lane at the Intersection of 494/KW drive………for Normal, Respectful drivers who actually look at the signs……For the "it's all about me" drivers in KW (which seams to be growing)….its called Create a Lane…..The remodeling of that intersection by Montgomery County widened and extended the SINGLE Right Turn Lane…….The Double Right turn lane @59 feeder and KW Drive has signs and arrows indicating the 2 turn lanes……what most people miss, are the "conditions" for that right turn.

yes it's always been one dedicated right turn lane. but i see some people turning right from the adjacent lane who don't want to wait in the long righthand turn land. waiting for an accident on that......

Pretty easy to see the signs and street markers…….Just missed the "create a lane" guy that bypassed 18 cars waiting to turn
