Tropics You'll probably see this mentioned this week so I wanted to elaborate. The Gulf looks to be waking up with a stalled out front in the Eastern Gulf. 🚨 This will NOT be an issue for Texas; it looks to be into northern Florida. 
The EURO AI model was the first to detect it and its the most aggressive model with tropical development in the Gulf next weekend. (7/18) 👉 This same EURO AI model nailed the TS Arthur forecast. I've been impressed with it over the past couple years so this has my attention. Next name on the list is Bertha. 🌀🌀🌀🌀 
🚨 This is a good reminder that El Niño does not keep storms from forming in the Gulf so we need to watch these stalling fronts.
