Tropical storm Chris

This guy sure popped up quick! ðŸŒ€ Thankfully, it made landfall just as fast but I wanted to mention it in case you hear about a storm named Chris.

â— THERE IS NO THREAT to the States as it has already made landfall about an hour ago in Mexico.

TROPICAL STORM CHRIS -

*Location: 65 miles south-southeast of Tuxpan, Mexico, over mainland eastern Mexico.

Advisory # 3 - Monday, July 1 @ 4:00 a.m. cdt.
*Max. sustained winds: 40 mph.
*Movement: Westward @ 12 mph.
*Min. sea level pressure: 1,005 millibars.

Guys - this is just an example of how fast these storms blow up once they form. Anything that pops up in the Gulf itself could become an issue very fast so it's not just the storms off Africa we have to look out for.
