I looked at that link. I'm confused by the "preconstruction" bit, I thought we had every possible one!
I don't think we much more room in our yard for additional wires/cables/equipment! (original electric, relaid electric, gas, added gas line for generator, phone, all those cable lines (original KW plus relaid plus at least 2 new ones in back easement; 2 or 3 in front setback))! None have ever been removed!

Ezee might have been the ones looking to come in and put another line in people's backyards. When XFinity came to a Trailwood HOA meeting, they said that there were a couple more companies that were looking at coming in to the area. People could have had another line or two in their easement, whether in front or in back. Ezee got the easy way out - pun intended - and just bought the company and the customer base. I Squared, the parent company, is a very large international infrastructure and just partnered with another Woodlands company Priority Power - Electric Power Infrastructure Companywww.smart-energy.com /industry-sectors/bu siness/miamis-i-squa red-acquires-enAcquiring an energy provider company in this area could be on the list. I could see the cross-pollinating of two different clients bases feeding each other - Electric and Fiber. Discounts could be offered from each company to another. As far as Tachus and Ezee, I think there will be a special offer made to Tachus people to stay on and make the pot even sweeter. Tachus has been great but if Ezee has been charging about 22% less than what we are paying now and you get a router with the deal, that is pretty significant. Tachus has made some good money off of us. I wonder what Xfinity is thinking right now!Personally, I think that this can be a pretty good deal. My only concern is the customer service and I don't want to be transferred offshore.

Hoping this will be good news. We have avoided getting Tachus. A new company may be the way to go. Thanks for posting this info. Fingers crossed for everyone.
