I loved TJ's ginger snaps and always got them when we lived in Virginia.
Here in Kingwood area, the WalMart brand of ginger snaps were my choice preCovid, but they are very expensive now. Best deal and best flavor currently are Lil' Dutch Maid 1 lb bag at Kroger's for $1.99.
I have actually seen smaller bag of this brand at Dollar Tree, but have hesitated to get them there.

catperson1 : The old front Randalls is going to be another gym. Isn't James Avery supposed to open in the remodeled out-parcel in front of the old HEB? I would have thought they'd want to get whatever is going in there opened by Nov, 1st, but they're not going to make it.

Lidl is da bomb!!! We also enjoyed Rewe- they're mostly city stores and we shopped there a lot because we always stayed in city centers!

And yet we gripe about the prices in these stores. I bet Trader Joe's is more expensive.

RueHic : I don't recall griping about any grocery prices, but I have seen others. If it fits your budget, then go and enjoy. If not, there are plenty of other options around. I don't go often but when I can, I like seeing all of the unique items and potentially finding a new favorite. Life's too short for boring same old same old. With one so close, I will definitely go more often.

I didn't mean to imply you specifically gripped about prices. In general many have expressed their concerns over high grocery prices. Please excuse my generalization of this topic.

They have unique frozen foods that are really good, and used to be, at least, that their flowers were super-nice and reasonably priced. I'd definitely shop there!
