Sophos2 : they ex husband is also making statements(that you quoted) that he can't back up. You obviously believed that narrative without knowing if it's true or not.

BooBear :
I tend to believe a stranger who's a citizen over a federal representative.
Call it an unfortunate foible.

Spork : On a routine basis, did you see officers and agents tasked with enforcing immigration law wearing mask and using the tactics we're seeing now, under previous Administrations? The answer would be no.

That's because the previous administration did little to enforce immigration policies. In fact, they let in more non-legal entries than they deported.

Sophos2 : nope, the foible ⏩ is the immediate decision to make choices before facts based on preconceived political inclinations. It's ok, everyone does it.

I assume most everything is a lie to start. It's safer than assuming everything is truth. I make mistakes. I made the mistake of saying she wasn't a protestor. She didn't seem as involved as her spouse was or actively causing anything that would start the series of that lead to her death. I operate off what I have experienced as well as what is available. I have watched many lie boldly to the American people as well as the world from both political parties. I've stated that I don't vote by party but by actions taken in office. Voting records and legislation is readily available to the public the majority of the time. My Father and several of his siblings had various security clearances while still alive. My sibling belonged to DHS for about a little over decade. The stories he told were insane and after he left backed with paperwork. The things people were allowed to do while actively on duty was pretty awful. DHS was once not the far right conservatives favourite. Our neighbor was pretty right wing and we had interesting conversations. I told him about my sibling had joined DHS and he grumbled. When he saw my sibling by clicking his heels together in a mock German salute and with a stern face said something I am not going to repeat. Let's just say he compared the job to 1930s German police. That was well over twenty years ago. We as a people have let those leading this country errode our civil rights for some time. I am unsure why so many who were up in arms about it are now indifferent. Who knows...

Sophos2 : DHS wasn't created until 2002 and not organized until 2003. So about 22 years. That seems a little short of "well over". Im calling bunk to your neighbor story.
There are also a lot of parts of DHS. Which part did they join?

Sophos2 : the TSA is a cesspool. It was created by, not moved to DHS.
The patriot act has been the biggest assault on our rights in our history and both sides gleefully vote to extend and expand it every year.

And DHS sprung from the Patriot Act is my point. He was a BDO.
I apologize for the errors. I have been typing this conversation and I am not sundowning but post stroke fatigue and autistic fatigue are a ***** of a combo.

Sophos2 : nope, your perceived indifference is based on your political inclinations and the subtle denial of those who may disagree plus an overly eager predilection to lump them in with history 's worst. That is as uniquely comedic.

What change are you advocating for? Or what understanding are you seeking?

asasolid2r :
Whatever you wish to believe. How the **** would I know I am only me. I never said my thinking was normal otherwise I would be allowed to live alone for more than a week or two before a welfare check is required.
I also don't like people touching me, eating with someone else's utensils, or eating food I have to touch. I'm aware my behaviours are found comedic by some. One of the reasons I don't like Trump.

Sophos2 : most don't like trump.. the failure do provide a better alternative is one of the most embarrassing political actions of this century. It's like neither party cares to take governance seriously anymore

asasolid2r :
I partly blame the creation of reality TV. 😆 The majority of my adult life I have voted third party candidates. My friend said I was wasting my vote and I told him no more than anyone else I could vote for.
