Spork The idea that progress can always be achieved peacefully is overstated. Basing your morals on the law is naïve and stagnant. Blindly trusting the government to do the right thing is also naïve. People often put public servants on a pedestal but forget that, at the end of the day, they are public servants. They exist to carry out the will of the people, and when they fail to do so, it is our right to push back and stand up for ourselves. America was built on defiance-the American Revolution, workers' rights, and civil rights were all achieved because people didn't simply "follow the law."

Joe : You should have passed out KDC cards and let them know about this forum so they can actually converse with people about their issues. I want to learn why it is necessary to interfere with law enforcement rather than engage in the passion of activism to change the law. If you change the law, the agency that enforces it has no justification to exist. I want to learn why people are being trained to break laws in order to interfere with public safety measures (enforcing Congressional laws). That seems like people are being used as pawns to put their lives, safety, freedom, and employment at risk simply for the purpose of spreading false and misleading information. I'd like to discuss that with them. You also left out the lady with the Gestapo sign and the one with images of pigs wearing police uniforms. They didn't seem like they were prepared for an intelligent conversation. Those kind of theatrics are a great way to let other people know that you cannot be reasoned with. I wish those people would post here so we can talk. I can read their signs but I have follow up questions. The opportunity to engage here is 24/7 and not the narrow limited hours of their exhibition where people interested in conversation have to find a place to park, and then begin hunting for someone willing and able to engage in a well reasoned conversation.

Spork : We do post here, but y'all are so blinded by the orange man and refuse to see what is happening right in front of you

dingo2 : Cool. But accept the RESPONSIBILITY that comes with your risk taking in the name of freedom.

Acceptance does not take away the emotions of an injustice happening. A movement without emotion is nothing. It's always "don't thread on me"until it becomes "just comply and take it"

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

What change are you advocating for? Or what understanding are you seeking?

TXLobo :
What change are you advocating for? Do you want to change the law? Or do you just want law enforcement officers to not enforce the law?

I am also neither a President of or a member of The Orange Man fan club. He is an insensitive ******. But I agree with roughly 60% of what he says and does and cringe at the rest. I only voted for him 4 out 6 times and held my nose and pushed the button 3 of those times. I want both parties to give us better candidates.

Today's Protest - Photos Photos from the "Demand Justice for Renee Nicole Good" protest in Kingwood, Jan 10, 2026. Turnout was smaller than the prior No Kings protests. I counted 103 people as of 11:40am.

Joe : It was an unnecessary voluntary sacrifice...she did not accomplish anything.
It is clear now that the officer was in his right to do what he did.
People should know the law and their rights so they don't interfere and get hurt .

acteon : It is not clear, to many people. The normal legal justice system should apply...a prosecutor will review the evidence, if they decide to prosecute, a jury will look at the vetted evidence in a fair way, and they guy will be innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Most of the time you seem quite reasonable. But with a decided bias.
Nobody can engage in a meaningful conversation with you if they sense hostility from the get-go.

Absolutely, theories, speculation and tantrum won't solve anything... patience is a virtue.. people should wait and think before they throw blame around....
