Today is the day Trader Joe's opens
Good morning friends! Happy Friday. I'm so glad it's Friday and the weekend is almost here. Trader Joe's opens at 8 AM this morning. 7:55 AM is ribbon-cutting. Who's headed over there today? I have a feeling it's going to be crazy busy. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

You are probably right. I don't think they are known for giving away promotions or gift cards at grand openings, but if they are then I can only imagine that would entice more people!

Weathergirl5 : It also appears to be the only TJ north of I-10 and will pull in business from a huge portion of the Greater Houston area.

Yes I think you are right. It is going to be a busy location and I hope they get that traffic light up near 494 and Kingwood Dr. synchronized or traffic will be a bear.

Having been in one, once, I don't understand the hoopala. It was OK & all, and I'm willing to visit one again, but am in no particular hurry.

They definitely have a cult of following. I just like a lot of their products and I like that they come from overseas where they have cleaner ingredients that I can actually pronounce.
