So I heard a while back most likely on KDC lol crooks were targeting people with the K sticker because they thought we were all rolling in cash . Can anyone confirm this, or was that just a suburban legend 🤣 LOL

Wouldn't surprise me. When I see some of the stickers on cars they can give some information for a crook. Sad but true.

Just went to the office and they denied my butt by saying our HOA doesn't participate! Stupid cuz I thought the whole KW is one city/town, but guess not!

Yep same for me. Woodstream used to have tin roof bbq every 4th of july too and got rid of that as well.

The parks are not privately owned.
Anyone can go to them.

Seems to me if your drivers license has the Kingwood address, you should be able to use the Parks

Furface11 : @ Moon007. River Grove is privately owned. It was deeded to KSA by Friendswood same as the East end park, so they are privately owned. It can be verified by the records of the Harris county tax accessor. The difference with the East End parking is, although the park is KSA privately owned land, the majority of the parking lot is city of Houston property, therefore no towing there. The KSA is funded by participating villages that belong to it. Not all areas in Kingwood belong. For example the town center apartment complex declined to participate in KSA, so residents living there even with a Kingwood address are not eligible to use KSA properties. No pay no play.
